WINTER-ARC
Starting My Winter Arc — One Month Early
September 1, 2026
I’ve decided to start something I’ve been thinking about for a while — my Winter Arc.
Usually, the Winter Arc is associated with starting on October 1st, but I decided not to wait another month.
So, my Winter Arc starts today — September 1st.
Why Start Early?
I don’t want to wait for the “perfect” date to start working on myself.
There’s always a reason to start tomorrow:
“I’ll start next week.”
“I’ll start from October.”
“I’ll start when things settle down.”
But eventually, you realize that there is no perfect time.
So instead of waiting for October 1st, I’m choosing to start today.
September will be my head start.
What Is My Winter Arc?
For me, this isn’t just about going to the gym or being productive for a few months.
It’s about becoming more disciplined and consistent in different areas of my life.
Some of my focus areas will be:
- DSA & Problem Solving
- Fitness & Training
- Learning & Academics
- Discipline & Consistency
- Personal Growth
- Building Projects & Improving My Skills
The goal isn’t to become a completely different person overnight.
The goal is to show up every day and become a little better than I was yesterday.
Documenting My DSA Journey
One thing I especially want to do during this journey is document my DSA (Data Structures & Algorithms) progress.
I’m going to try my best to post an update every week about my DSA journey.
I’ll share things like:
- Problems I’ve solved
- New concepts I’ve learned
- Mistakes I’ve made
- Interesting approaches I’ve discovered
- My progress and consistency
- Things I struggled with
I don’t expect every week to be perfect.
There will probably be days when I solve a lot of problems, and there will be days when I struggle with something that seemed easy before.
And that’s okay.
I want to document the real journey, not just the results.
Starting Today
September 1st, 2026.
This is Day 1.
I’m not going to make unrealistic promises about how productive I’ll be every single day.
Instead, I’m making a simpler promise to myself:
I’ll keep showing up.
A few months from now, I want to look back at this post and see how far I’ve come.
Maybe I’ll have solved hundreds of problems.
Maybe I’ll have built projects I’m proud of.
Maybe I’ll become stronger, more disciplined, and more confident.
Or maybe I’ll realize that some of my plans didn’t work and I’ll have to change them.
Whatever happens, I want to be able to say:
I started. I stayed consistent. And I kept going.
So here’s to the next few months.
**Winter Arc — Day 1 **
Let’s see where this takes me.
